18:7. ಯೆಹೋವನು ಹಿಜ್ಕೀಯನೊಂದಿಗಿದ್ದನು. ಹಿಜ್ಕೀಯನು ತಾನು ಮಾಡಿದ್ದರಲ್ಲೆಲ್ಲಾ ಜಯಗಳಿಸಿದನು. ಹಿಜ್ಕೀಯನು ಅಶ್ಶೂರದ ರಾಜನೊಂದಿಗಿದ್ದ ಸಂಬಂಧವನ್ನು ಕಡಿದುಹಾಕಿದನು. ಅಶ್ಶೂರದ ರಾಜನ ಸೇವೆಯನ್ನು ಹಿಜ್ಕೀಯನು ನಿಲ್ಲಿಸಿದನು.

18:7. ಕರ್ತನು ಅವನ ಸಂಗಡ ಇದ್ದನು; ಅವನು ಯಾವ ಕಡೆಗೆ ಹೋದರೂ ಅವನಿಗೆ ಸಫಲವಾಗುತ್ತಿತ್ತು. ಅವನು ಅಶ್ಶೂರಿನ ಅರಸ ನನ್ನು ಸೇವಿಸದೆ ಅವನ ಮೇಲೆ ತಿರುಗಿ ಬಿದ್ದನು.
